Our project partner Agenfor International Foundation just released a reportage on women and children of foreign fighters in Syria.

This video shows families of foreign fighters captured by the curds in Syria and Iraq who have been abandoned by their western governments in prison camps managed by non-State actors. The challenge for Europe is to reintegrate these families and to engage them in countering radicalization. Agenfor Internationl Foundation, one of our project partner, visited them in order to document their experiences, monitor risks in the case that they return home, and understand their attitudes towards repentance and possibility for reintegration. Bringing forth a message that radicalization can be countered through the rule of the law.
